Munlochy Bay, on the Black Isle, viewed through a former railway bridge. The railway branch line was closed in 1960, and beyond Munlochy it used to run through to Fortrose via Avoch. These days some of it is a footpath. Nature, farmland, and housing have taken over the rest.
Fairly dire day, weather-wise. A lot hardy folk are supposed to be running in the Inverness Half Marathon today... despite the non-stop snow/sleet/rain and biting NE winds! I've only ever managed to get fit enough for two such ventures, and those were elsewhere during the Summer. Finding enthusiasm for Winter training has never been my forte...
