Alright for some

This dog likes to make herself comfortable on my lap while I'm trying to work.

I hardly got out today the weather was so miserable and I had so much to do. It was a weird day also in that, yesterday, I was contacted by a teenage daughter of my brother's (so my niece) with whom he had had no contact since she was a baby, and she wanted me to put her in touch with him. A very difficult situation, with a lot of potential ramifications. Anyway, it all worked out OK I think, much to my relief.
