This statue of Hippocrates is wrapped in protective cling film while constuction goes on round it.

This area is meant to be the focal point of U of Calgary Medical School but has been uder conctruction for a very long time. A recent setback means that the adjacent library will not be open for at last four more months. It will be a while before Hippocrates is allowed to breathe again.
