RIGHT DOWN THE LINE
Sometimes, even with the best of intentions, mistakes can be made and today I almost stepped over that line.
The issue was about editorial integrity and although I'd amended one typo in a comment, in the process I overlooked another.
Anyway it was very quickly and courteously drawn to my attention in an email from Graham Maclachlan at blipfoto, to whom I now duly acknowledge my thanks.
My father always always taught me to give honour where it is due and to be fair, always!
During my BBC years I experienced many robust and rigorous editorial meetings ensuring factual accuracy, fairness and balance in our programmes. It's also a good approach to life.
