Push pineapple, shake the tree!!

Once upon a time I went to Brazil.

We sat on Copacabana beach and the 'pineapple man' would walk by. He carried pineapples on sticks. On request he peeled the pineapples and handed them to us like lollies.

Fresh pineapple and papaya for our breakfast every day. It was amazing. Unfortunately I was ten and did not appreciate how this was a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

Meanwhile, we will just have to carry on buying pineapples from the supermarket!!
