stilll cold

the whinging journal continues - so! yesterday was supposed to be warm and went our fr supper without my down-coat (first time since November). I thought it was a bit chilly - and counter to the weather forecast the temp went down to -16 with -25 wind chill (it was supposed to be about zero... Ugh whinge over...

As for this photo - growing up we had placemats with pictures of diseased fruit. No maggots - but bruises and deformity. Therefore I confidently show these flowers which featured some months ago - thanks to the high altitude and low humidity of yyc - the Dutch call them Droogbloemen....

now off to supper with Gwyn and Catherine and I will lend Cwrw Croyw my super duper 85m lens! it may well appear in In the moment's journal too as we are all tooled up with canon kit....
