Worcester Guildhall
So, tonight we went on a Ghost Walk round Worcester, as a slightly delayed but very exciting birthday treat. I tried to take a photo of a ghost but a) I don't believe in them and b) we didn't see any. We did, however, go into lots of historical buildings in Worcester and learn a bit about their history.
It inspired us to plan to do a bit of a project on the county and the civil war. Watch this space!
Anyway, this is the Guildhall in Worcester - apparently (and you can't see it in this blip, apologies) the gargoyle over the door is a likeness of Oliver Cromwell: Worcester (known as the faithful city) was resistant to the roundheads influence longer than any other city in the midlands.
[The project has started already!]
Big thanks to Sam and Neet for yet another smashing evening out. x
