Underneath Challenge

Well, a lot of underneath views around my house would not be suitable. You wouldn't wish to see underneath the bed, the chest of drawers, etc, etc.

This shot is underneath the Ficus benjamina, Weeping Fig. It was all I could manage after a panic call from The Mother. Her electricity supply was doing scary things. The lamp had gone off, the TV had gone off, the computer had gone off and one of the phones had gone off.

What had happened was that, in turning on her lamp, a bulb had blown and tripped the circuit of sockets. I had been engaged on the phone at the time and she hadn't been able to get through to me and had got frightened. No problem, just a switch to restet and a new bulb to buy tomorrow.

It seems like only days since Blipland was shocked by the devestation in New Zealand, and now we are hearing about Japan. How insignificant are our problems today in the UK!
