With mountains like these

Peace in the valley

I tried to get a shot of the botanic gardens again this morning, using the luxury of no work after the school drop off. There was a perfect calm and the smoke from the gardens and olivars hung over us. But the all elusive ray of warmth from the sun still hasn't come at the right time. I'll keep trying!

After peculiar, but not unpleasant dreams of being sung to every day, I really hadn't felt very productive. But an early morning coffee inspired me to do some work. I emerged just after midday with the majority of my things to be done under my belt, with few hiccoughs on the printing and computer front. It felt completely justified to get some lunch under the belt too. No hiccoughs either. A new place for a menu, a few Euros extra, but Ca'n BoQueta was great and I want to go back for a tasting menu when I can afford the time, money and indulgence. So without feeling drowsy, I could do a bit more work on return to the house, get the boys and then spend the evening with them doing silly stuff, homework, a bit of Kind Hearts and Coronets a la pizza and popcorn, Moomins cont. for a story and now ready for an even earlier (8.15a.m.) start tomorrow for Ben's match.

WHAT! NO I'M NOT! No peace tomorrow!
