Kaleidoleaf

It's a while since I've added to my Kaleidoscope series, and today seemed like as good a time as any to make that good. It was nose to the grindstone for the best part of the day, and it was also wet and miserable for the best part of the day, though I did manage to take advantge of a short window of opportunity when the wet stopped and the sun actually broke through.

I came across the original (this lonely leaf) during a short round-the-block walk, this was the best of a very few shots which ended up in the camera, and it struck me as an ideal subject for the kaleidoscope treatment. A slightly different approach this time, though, getting away from the usual square, centered format.
