Lil got Hungry Hippos for Christmas (a long but dull story but essentially my cunning evil
Aunty plan backfired big time) and I am embarrassed to say that today is the first time we have had it out.

I really really REALLY hate it when you open a child's toy and discover that someone (me) has to stick all the bloody stickers on and build the damn thing. Especially when you know that they will have moved onto something else after 5 minutes...

In other news, we are a house of illness. Bella's turn to wake with a temperature but I dosed her up and sent her off. She came in from school and took to her bed, but not until requesting that I wake her to go bowling with Cubs...

Ally also started to go all wan and listless (he had the temperature on Tuesday) so I gave him the choice if bed or Beavers - guess which he chose ;-)
