Some past memories to make the home :)
For the first time in my life I have my own place I can call home, it may only be for 3 weeks, but its mine and I am able to live my life how I wish, making the flat become a prototype of ideas for when (in a couple of years time) I will be able to move out on my own money (not the companies!). This fairly large 1 bedroom flat in a church, was completely empty when I arrived and it felt so cold and lifeless, so i have spent some time trying to make it homely and the first step to that was to turn the empty walls into something a bit more interesting.
At the start of 2010 I got a load of photos printed (about 300) to use in albums and put on on my wall. Unfortunately I rushed ordering them and when I thought I had selected 4x6 I actually had selected 4.5x6...I was rather annoyed! So they haven't been much use for albums, as I have had to cut them down and I haven't put them up in my room because I want to have boards so I don't ruin my paint work with blue tack. BUT this flat was a prime chance to be blue tacked, so with blue tack in one hand and a pill of photos in the other I got to work :)
This wall was one of 3 walls that came under the theme "Friends + Family = Fun", the only shame is that I didn't have any pictures from 2010, probably the most exciting year of my life yet!
