Watching, Learning, Feeling.

"Mummy what's that?"
"There's been an earthquake baby, away far away in Japan, it's going to be very sad for a while and there's lots of waves and mudslides now. Lots of boys and girls will be very sad and worried just now"
*watches for a few minutes*
"I don't like Earth Mummy, it's naughty."

We've been watching since this morning, and then wee man came back and joined us. I think he's becoming more and more socially aware at exactly the wrong time. Earthquakes, Floods, Fires, things I wish, like mothers everywhere, that I could protect him from. I've not cried this much in a long time. Cars being torn off the road, houses tumbling like cards, everything decimated.

So much for my blip of my tulips from the Boss. They were very sweet.


On another note, I suspect he seen me move into position to steal this picture, because he moved his torso slightly towards me, but couldn't turn his eyes from the screen.
