Thoughts with those in Japan

The footage and photographs coming out of Japan today are truly insane.

I hope the loss of life is not as big as must be feared when you see footage of who towns being washed away with many building on fire as they are carried away by a 10m wall of water.

Things like this really remind you that for all our technology and civilisation that when it comes to the raw forces of physics and geology really are just small bags of meat.
