Saving the lion
Spotted this little chap waiting patiently for his owner.
I could just see what happened: The owner playing merrily, perhaps in a pram, flicking him from side to side when, suddenly, the tiny fingers relaxed and he went sailing through the air. The owner would have sat stunned for a bit and then, a few hundred yards later, started wailing.
Mum (or, indeed, dad) would have searched in vain, once enlightenment of the situation dawned on her/him. The search was fruitless and the day was blighted with this lack of discovery.
Later in the day a kindly person spotted the poor, lost chap and placed him high up on the back of this bench, hoping that the owner would pass that way again.
My fingers are crossed. I shall keep the blip-iverse posted.
