Not a Lake
More weird weather here. We've had two wind advisories in the last two days. The wind storms came as promised, but they weren't as strong as the previous ones we've had, and we didn't lose our power.
I dropped C off for an appointment in town around noon today and ran a couple of errands while she was there. The sun came out and it was so bright that it hurt my eyes. I try to keep a pair of sunglasses in the car, but they always make their way back into the house -- just like the spiders we capture in the shower and take outside.
Just after we got home and were sitting down to lunch, there was a sudden squall that turned our street into a temporary waterway. At least it didn't snow, although there's still some remaining on Lookout Mountain.
