Recovery continues

This is a picture from the Chicago Cultural Arts Center taken a month and a half ago shortly before my surgery. A reminder of when I was out and about.

I went back to the surgeons office this morning with a lot of pain and discomfort. I'm back on a catheter as my bladder was not emptying. I will be going in for another surgery on Tuesday. I will be put under but it is out patient and not nearly as invasive as the initial cancer surgery. They just have to repair the urinary track. This "recovery" is taking longer than I expected. But even with set backs, each day reminds me of how blessed I am by a great family, great friends, a great doctor, and an awesome, abiding and sustaining God.
