A bite before leaving
Off for a weekend in Oxford and Bristol but first, time for a slice of the loaf I baked yesterday: a Dan Lepard recipe involving a combination of fresh yeast and a sourdough leaven, strong white and wholemeal flours, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Accompanied by Welsh butter, French honey and strong coffee but not this morning's fresh duck eggs which I added just for effect. Time to hit the (rail)road!
