Full equality????

Tonight I went to a talk by the charity Action Aid related to their work in Afghanistan and International Women's Day this week.

Did you know?
More than half of brides in Afghanistan are under 16.
Only 18% of Afghan women between 15 and 24 are able to read.
In Africa, women produce up to 80% of the food, BUT they only own 1% of the land.
Over the past 25 years, only 1 in 40 peace agreement signatories have been women and one could go on and on and on and on.
