delays & airplanes

the beginning of china trip 2011! got to the airport fairly early for a 3:50pm flight. i got to catch up on this week's glee & paint my nails :) while the boarding time was approaching, the airport agents announced that the flight would be delayed at least an hour because of "technical issues." who ever really knows what that mean always? so susan & i waited around some more, she watched old tv shows on her computer while i read freakonomics. once the hour had pass, they announced that we had to wait another hour for more information, still because of these "technical issues." more waiting around trying to nap/read/not kill anybody. by around 5pm, they finally announced that we would we boarding at 7pm & take off around 7:30pm. they also gave us $10 each for food, which was pretty sweet. ate like kings at mcdonalds w/ some leftovers :P once we got on the plane, i felt like applauding somebody because it took so much to get there!

after a 13.5 hour flight full of rude people, loud crying babies, & small uncomfortable seats, we finally made it to beijing!
