Seeds for trees
This is part of our new venture: community outreach agricultural programmes.
For the past few years we have been been working on the farm in Lusangazi, researching suitable plants using open pollinated seeds.
This year we have gone out to three communities to spread the good news and bring seeds, seedlings, inspiration, education and hope. (a community could have over 10 villages with 1000 people)
The pic shows Binna, our expert on tree propagation using budding, grafting, layering and the likes.
The women are so intent on learning.

John,
We were in Ekaiweni, Went with Bina to show the villagers how to peel and plant mango seed. We intend to promote this village by teaching them to plant fruits so that they can have more fruits in their village. We have given them citrus seedlings, but will also show them how to do the propagation themselves.
They will cone to stay at Lusangazi farm, where they will learn more.
