Going home to roost

This is the majority of our local Starling flock, who have spent most of the day in our garden stuffing their faces. I can't help loving them though, the colours when the sun catches their feathers are amazing. Plus we used to have one that mimiced a phone and another that sounded like next doors house alarm. Genius little birds.

Does anyone else think they look like little fighter planes in flight?
