Just look at the state of those hands!

I have no idea what he's been doing but those are seriously filthy hands.

Take a good look at the nails too...bitten to the quick.

You wouldn't believe it but those grubby little hands are capable of playing truly beautiful music. Yes, the Gods of music have been very generous to my seven-year-old. The flip side of this is that he has, what might be kindly called, an 'artistic temperament' <sigh>, and rather less kindly called 'a bloody awkward personality capable of generating an argument from nothing!' even as he effortlessly transposes a piece from major to minor...just because he can.

Hey ho...good job I love him anyway :-)
