Jeremy, we're being watched!
Went for a walk with a friend today in and around Wickersley Wood, one of the South Yorkshire "fuelling a revolution" lottery funded restoration project woods. Great light, but a howling gale. The only birds we saw were wood pigeons, mallards, coot, a few blackbirds and a distant thrush. Did see my first frogs of the year with plenty of spawn in a pathside ditch, but nearly got blown into the ditch trying to get a few shots in.
