Today I spent wandering around doing some last minute shopping for my brothers birthday tomorrow. This abandoned church is now amongst what's developed into a commercial nightmare...It's one of the buildings they left standing and renovated. Some of the area's also been developed into condos...however given the past history of the buildings they converted...they're probably haunted with their previous tenants...

I went over to the Apeiron Institute afterwards for their open house. They've been developing a fully self sustainable eco friendly building...and its amazing. All the power and heat are generated from solar. The building materials are all environment friendly, and made from recycled materials, etc. Here's two shots.

Afterwards I got lost somehow found myself in in the middle of no where and only realized I was driving further west towards Connecticut by the location of the sun...thankfully that's always west...turned around...got lost for another forty minutes...and ended up in Coventry...The place is less than 9 miles from my house...and I still got lost...whoops...lol...It was fun though...
