Five Minutes of Heaven

Fumbling in the kitchen in the dark making coffee and half awake as my mind assessed the day. As I walked to my office the light had just started to peak over the Eastern Mountains. I ask myself, another sunrise blip? Of course just focus differently and change position. Without a coat I ventured outside and was able to catch this 5 minutes of heaven.

Do you remember the sunrise scene in the movie "City of Angels"? I grew up in Southern California and until 11 yrs ago I lived in San Diego, spending 2 of those years living on my 32' Sportfishing Boat in the marina next to Seaworld. Every morning I would drink my coffee wrapped in a blanket and watch the sunrise. I often thought of that scene and still do. In the winter here when the sun is rising the horses and cows always seem to stand looking as it rises.

Life is full of miracles if we pay attention we witness them daily. Be Blessed & Be a Blessing!
