Surfing today, a good north sea swell was running so got up early and drove over to Sea Palling on the Norfolk coast with Anna (who bizarrely was also going to Norfolk on a blind date to meet a guy called Kevin) so that officially made me her chaperone! A highly amusing situation which led to a lot of jokes and jibes at Anna. Met up with Daz and Clump in the car park, but no sign of Kevin.
Surf was OK, but i wasn't doing well and took a few waves "over the falls". Still weather was good, so it was worth the trip, great to get in the water again.
However, despite seeing a beautiful morning light over the snow covered fens, and lovely hollow shore break barrels, and the beautiful bleakness of the norfolk coast, I didn't take a single picture.
So here's peggy!
Anna found kevin in the end, so all 5 of us went to a pub for some food post surf. He seems like a nice enough chap, so I have given my chaperone's approval!
