Spence and I went and got the trailer from our neighbour this morning and loaded some of the branches into it before we went to dancing! We came home, had lunch and then once Spence was in bed I finished off the trailer ready for Kaz to take to the tip tomorrow. Spence woke up early so I didn't get a chance to start on the trampoline while he was asleep. I decided to put a dvd on for him so I could work on it without him hovering about!
Kaz and I started putting it together and struggled with the mat. We had to call Tarsh's husband, Scott to come over to help us with some more strength and he has also put one together before! Scott came just as we had finished putting the mat on, but it just didn't look right! The mat was stretched a bit oddly and the frame wasn't sitting properly! We ended up taking everything apart and starting again!
After another hour of Scott and I working together and Kaz looking after Scott's two kids, plus Spencer as well as making tea, Scott had the first bounce and then we let the kids on! They loved it then we all sat down to burritos!
In renovation news, the house we were looking at to renovate in Traralgon doesn't look good. We had a re-blocking guy look under it at the stumps and he has said that the whole house needs to be re-stumped which will cost about $9,000. That is more than half our renovation budget. We have contacted the agent and told him that we will have to not buy it unless the vendors decrease the asking price! We doubt they want to do that so it looks like we may have to start looking elsewhere!
It has been drizzling with rain for most of the day today. When we woke up this morning there was a spiderweb in between two trees just outside Spence's window. I went out and took a couple of photos of the rain caught on it and then found a couple of strands of web attached to the balcony with some rain drops! Here it is!
