Curiosity
This time 44yrs ago life changed for the us as a family.
It was 8.45am and I was leaving the house with my little brother to go up the road to school.
Dad was breathing in a strange, loud way as we closed the front door.
That was the last time I saw him.
I re-live that moment every year.
I used to make sure I was sat by his grave with a bunch of Daffodils for him.
I will be there a bit later when I go to let the birds out, the Daffs aren't in flower yet so that bit will wait a few days.
I often wonder how different our lifes would have been.
All things for a reason.
I have a fab family and wouldn't want it any other way, but that doesn't stop me wondering how else it might have turned out.
I know it couldn't be any better.
