We turned out of our road this morning to be met by a crime scene, complete with probably the towns entire contingent of police officers and tape.

The occupant of the house in question had been shot early this morning, though his injuries are not life threatening.

Still, it's unnerving for a community that is used to pretty much nothing happening around here.
