Shard

Just behind the street I live on is a construction site for what will eventually become the tallest building in the E.U.

(Admittedly, Tooley Street does stretch almost a kilometre along the Thames so it's not right on my doorstep but the Shard is technically just behind the other end of the street)

The building has been growing taller with each passing month and now the glass windows are being installed so the face of the building is changing on a daily basis. I took this using the Pro HDR app on the iPhone on my way home from work and then just increased the saturation as it was such a dull day and the colours are too rich to be overlooked. It gives it a slightly unreal, almost painted look, but that seems somehow fitting for a building which is a work of art in itself.
