Look down!


Continueing from my last blip 2 days ago here, this is the other view. No wonder the kids want to be carried downstairs. Thats some height for a little bod!!! :-)
Comments from my previous blip reminded me that didn't we all want to go upstairs on the bus when we were kids........yeh we did, but for me I was the lucky kid. My father was a bus driver with SMT (or Eastern Scottish) and my highlight was getting in the cab and driving the bus into the depot, which was at New Street. Dont know if anybody out there can remember that, lately it was a car park. Anyway for me at that time I used to sit on my Dads lap ( I was only 4 or 5 at the time), and I used to fully believe that I was driving that bus down the ramp and into the depot. It must have been difficult for my Dad as there wasn't much room in those cabs, but he made it very special for me andI loved it!! :-)
