Whale Rib Pub Beams

Usually in a private function room for my friend's art group in her local pub, this evening we sat in the balcony space where this beamed ceiling caught my attention.
Strangely, it makes me think of Pinocchio - of being swallowed by the whale and looking up at the inside it's stomach!
