Fine Art (Fart)

I took a photograph of some lillies and was going to write a big thing about how sometimes we need to slow down and smell the flowers...but then I noticed this very scary face that Ella had drawn and it is far more in keeping with general air of madness in our home this week.

Philip has been away two days already, he has a conference call at eight tomorrow morning and then is away all day on Friday. There are days when I really wish I could be a 50s housewife (complete with flowery pinny and Aga, naturally). To compensate for the madness we have already planned to have a curry on Friday night to celebrate surviving another week!
