Never been a huge fan of Ash Wednesday. I feel pretty strongly aware of my short comings already, so having a day designed for me to focus on them always seemed frustrating.
For whatever reason, I woke up this morning feeling strangely different about it. It didn't feel like a day of "You are an epic failure", as much as "You don't have time to waste". I must do the thing I am going to do - and I must do it now, before it is too late! Hurray! :)
