Blue Bird

One of the first days where you could truly get some spring skiing (firn). Also there was still plenty of powder snow to find, if you where willing to hike for it. This photo is from the back of Albona up towards what is called Vordere Kaltenberg, Kaltenberg beeing the tallest mountain in the right upper corner, it is one of the great ski tours around here. If you look closely you can see that many people already has been skiing it, also there are tracks leading up and down all the north faces in the background. This was beginning of March 2011 in the Arlberg.
