Happy Shrovecake Day!!

Hope everyone has had a very yummy, fattening day. SO much for the meaning of Shrove Tuesday though eh?! I for one went out and bought flour to make pancakes, rather than using up old supplies before Lent. Lucky I'm not religulous ;)

I guess it bit me on the arse a little though, as I still felt really ill with the same sharp stomach cramps as yesterday morning, and couldn't manage anything more than the squitty little test-cake without feeling ill. It was pretty damn good though :)

Classic lemon and sugar of course, mum and the vet downstairs enjoyed them, even if I couldn't :) x
