Dades valley, in the foreground of the many now abandoned kasbahs. The smaller ones used to be the home for one family while the larger ones would house a number of families. For some reason many Moroccons now prefer to live in houses built out of concrete. Whilst they are easier to maintain they do not have the temperature regulating qualities of the kasbah.
