This wasn't my choice for the days photographs. But when I converted it to black&white it magically became the best of the lot. It was taken at sunset, and along with morning light, is my favorite time to make images. I really enjoy the gradation from the blackest black to the whitest white. Also the feeling of height, of a 5' gate, is pleasing to my eye. And as some of you know, lines and angles are some of my favorite subjects. It was a tough decision between this and the original photograph, but this B/W really got to me. Besides the 'blue sky' thing is so over used by some people! ;o))
