Timepiece

If there's one thing I haven't had too much of to spare today, it was time. Between one thing and another the whole day has slipped past and not an awful lot accomplished. I am glad that I shot a couple of blips earlier on, a flower and a clock. Since I have posted many flowers, I thought I would go with a clock today.

This is a rather special clock for me as it is the last one remaining from a batch of the same pattern, which I made nearly 20 years ago when I was doing a lot of craft woodwork. This was the only one made in cherry wood which was so nice that I could never sell it. It is however all showy on the outside because the mechanism is simply a modern quartz movement.
