Street Shadows--Paris

This is a view from our 4th floor Paris apartment, straight down to the Rue des Peupliers (Paris 13th).

It's yet another in a series of stunningly sunny days. André Kertesz took images like this, I believe relatively late in his life when he was living on a high floor in New York City.

I've just archived a very similar image, taken just over two years ago, taken from the same perspective on the floor below (where we were staying then).

Today is International Women's Day; I celebrated it with my blip exactly a year ago.
