Land of Sky Blue Water

I guess I robbed that title from an old beer commercial, but I thought it fit my blip for today.

The weather was pretty weird today, we had rain, then sun, then cloudy skies, then a little more rain. When I got off work, I thought there may be a possibility of a sunset, so I went to the store quickly, with thoughts of scurrying down to the "blippers dock", but when I came out of the store, it was solid clouds.

I was glad that I had taken some shots earlier in the day when the sun was shining. I usually don't take photos in the afternoon, but I have been watching this one spot to find a time when there would be blue sky and clouds overhead that might reflect in the water. Well, I noticed as I was driving home during lunch, so I did a U-turn and went back to my spot.

The sky was very blue, and it seemed to reflect fairly well in the water. That was what I had been waiting for.

I want to thank everyone for their kind comments and faves on my 300th blip. It kind of sneaked up on me, so I was really surprised by all the comments.
