Lake Mapourika

Cabbage Tree and New Zealand Flax on the west coast of the South Island. It is so beautiful here. We are overnighting in Franz Joseph, a buzzing holiday resort of exactly one street large. We have not seen the Franz Joseph glacier yet because of low cloud but the forecast for tomorrow is good.
