Bright skies before the rain

I went to apply for a new passport this morning. Weather was lovely - a bit windy but sunny! No snow here in Stockholm, as you can see (unlike the situation in Uppsala yesterday). On our way home we saw some flowering Eranthis (Winter Aconites).

This building is the Police headquarters on King's Island, Stockholm. Maybe not an architectural masterpiece, but it has some nice Jugend/Art Noveaux details (hardly noticeable in this pic). And, as an American once told me in a completely different context: "It's grand, and people like that."
