Mourning doves
Thursday
Another sunny day under blue skies - such a welcome sight after all the grey gloomy days we've had this winter. In the afternoon I went out to enjoy the day. I had been planning to go to Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, but as I was driving down the I-75, I noticed one of the warning panels said that Mitchell Ave was closed west of the I-75 - and that was the road I needed to take, so I took the next exit across to the I-71 and headed back north, and went instead to Winton Woods, where I snapped these two mourning doves perched on a branch. I later discovered the closure was due to a massive water main break, which had flooded that stretch of road!
