Silent

I'll be honest, I haven't made it though the rest of my pictures yet, but I think this one may sort of sum up the general feeling of my week. I went on an 8 day silent retreat. The silent part was hard, in that a lot of noises come out of my face (humming, singing, talking to myself), so that was hard to keep under wraps. But the not-talking-to-people was a LOT easier than I ever imagined.

It was ....good. Really good. Hard, but good.

We are talking, two-thumbs-up, 5 gold stars...etc. I could not recommend the thing more highly. If you ever have the opportunity for one - DO IT!! :)
