Hopefully

Hopefully, by converting this photo to black and white* I will have detracted from the sheer blandness of the subject matter and made it look arty and atmospheric (I notice people such as that David77 chap doing this on blipfoto).

I was stopped in town today by two foreign gentlmen who asked me "where is the nearest massage shop?". I directed them to the nearby gym, explaining that it would have a spa area. But no. They told me that was not the sort of massage they were after. Hopefully they were asking all and sundry, and hadn't singled me out thinking that I looked the sort of person who knows the loction of the city's massage parlour. Hopefully their evening had a happy ending.

Today I was in a place where the view of the city was possibly one of the best I had ever seen. Folks couldn't stop from looking out the windows. Can you imagine having a room like that? Can you imagine if you did, how you'd decorate it?

Well these corporate numpties had chosen to have a large badly framed faded picture taken in the 1930s of 11 blokes eating their lunch on a girder while taking a break from building the Empire state Building.... Hopefully there's a faded charmless picture of Urquhart Castle is gracing a wall in the Sydney Opera House.....

* oh no. I am giving my secrets away. Now you know that I didn't have a roll of black and white film in my camera.
