Sheltering from the storm

First thing this morning I looked out to see this ship just over the garden wall! The wind/gales are from the north and so it is obviously sheltering round the south side of the island. Been a grey, cold and wild wet and windy day, with bits of sleet and the odd flake of snow but mostly icy rain. Loads of things have been cancelled today and this evening, including the ceilidh dancing tonight.
