If you can call it a sunset!

There was no sun in view but it must have been somewhere behind the snowy sky.
It's finally stopped snowing and the big melt is underway, however it's causing a right big mess because the drains, which are generally dust-filled, can't cope! It was the worst snowfall in 20 years! Thankfully it's not freezing otherwise the roads would be lethal - Amman is all hills.

Most things close on a Friday here but Mecca Mall was business as usual. Spent a couple of hours browsing, stopping at the Blue Fig for a late lunch stroke early supper (what's that? Lupper?). I missed breakfast because my phone cut out at some point in the night. Good job it wasn't a school night otherwise I'd have been very late!

I had my first night out last night! Invited out by a colleague who was meant to be away this weekend running the 'Dead to Red' (Seas), but was in town because the race got cancelled as a result of the weather. A crowd of us went for Turkish Baths followed by drinks at the Rovers Return (I kid you not) then the rather more swanky 51 Bar. The Turkish Bath was fab but any suntan I had left from India and Vietnam was well and truly scrubbed off with a giant brillo pad!
