The last few remains of the year's supply of firewood burned in the evening as it snowed rather heavily outside. Today, with a few friends we celebrated Clean Monday which marks the beginning of Great Lent. As usual, we started with morning coffee and after that it was a day full of lagana (a special kind of azyme bread, baked only on this day) and tahini halva.

It's the beginning of a wonderful season...
